I have thought about my study in Information Technology at The Iceland University of Education. How will it be in the future? It has gradually become clearer for me now, how I want to use my knowledge of ICT.

I would like to build up my knowledge and also knowledge of my fellow traveller in ICT. Further education is possible but only the future can tell about that. I know there is a big chance to use ICT in education with grown up people.

Now I have learned about Dreamwever and I like it very well. I am interested to be a webmaster for my pres-chools web page. I want to design, develope and set up educational web, where I can tell people and parents about the situation at the school, like other pre-schools. Saeborg, Funaborg, Iðavöllur.

I am working at Leikskólar Reykjavíkur, Leikskólinn. There we have no ICT. Just a few pre-schools have a web page but it is beeing connected to mentor.is. It is my opinion that we have a difficult task in most icelandic pre-schools by using ICT, because of shortage of equipment and knowledge.

I am interested in studying more about computers and making software for children. I am also interested in staff development and the possibility to use ICT for that matter.
